Aeration

Aeration

Turf aeration, also commonly called core aeration, is one of the most important factors for maintaining optimal lawn growth, fullness and overall health.

Compacted soil can quickly slow the growth of your lawn and leave areas looking uneven and patchy. Among many reasons, turf is most often compacted by uneven foot traffic or construction activities. Aeration punches through compacted soil to allow room for roots to breathe and for water and nutrients to be absorbed. Leftover cores disintegrate quickly, and the turf is quick to fill in the small holes.

Yearly aeration is strongly recommended for the best and most consistent results.
