Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking skilled, energetic professionals who bring a strong work ethic, hands-on experience in tree care, and a dedication to safety. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works efficiently without compromising quality, and values teamwork and professional growth.
Qualifications & Preferences:
- ISA Certification not required (but valued)
- Climbing experience preferred but not mandatory
- Clean driver’s license essential
- Ability to work in all-weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety and detail
Key Responsibilities
As part of our tree care team, your duties may include:
- Tree pruning and removal
- Chainsaw work
- Bucket truck/lift operation (standard driving)
- Working safely at heights
- Heavy lifting and rigging
- Chipper operation
- Tree climbing (with or without spurs)
Compensation and Career Growth
Kentucky Blue Grass Ltd. offers competitive wages and clear opportunities for advancement.
- Arborist Leads / Aerial Specialists: $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience
- Additional $2 per hour for ISA Certification
- Opportunities to advance into Estimator, Quality Control Supervisor, or Junior Arbor Manager roles
- Support for ongoing training and professional certifications such as ISA Certified Arborist and ISA TRAQ
