Kentucky Blue Grass Ltd. is seeking experienced, motivated Arborist Leads to join our growing tree department. Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking skilled, energetic professionals who bring a strong work ethic, hands-on experience in tree care, and a dedication to safety. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works efficiently without compromising quality, and values teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications & Preferences:
  • ISA Certification not required (but valued)
  • Climbing experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Clean driver’s license essential
  • Ability to work in all-weather conditions
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
Key Responsibilities

As part of our tree care team, your duties may include:

  • Tree pruning and removal
  • Chainsaw work
  • Bucket truck/lift operation (standard driving)
  • Working safely at heights
  • Heavy lifting and rigging
  • Chipper operation
  • Tree climbing (with or without spurs)
Compensation and Career Growth

Kentucky Blue Grass Ltd. offers competitive wages and clear opportunities for advancement.

  • Arborist Leads / Aerial Specialists: $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience
  • Additional $2 per hour for ISA Certification
  • Opportunities to advance into Estimator, Quality Control Supervisor, or Junior Arbor Manager roles
  • Support for ongoing training and professional certifications such as ISA Certified Arborist and ISA TRAQ
